SPRING SUMMER IS RISING 🌞
You’re invited to the shiniest, most fabulous party this Spring Summer. The place is Lido Calypso, the host is yours truly. Lido Calypso SS22 will be released over three parts and here’s what you can expect…We have extended our size range to a size 24. Your faves are returning, there will be some jaw dropping showstoppers, some sexy siren moments, head-to-toe outfitting options, and in true Novella fashion, a shimmering soirée of sparkly numbers for the party season.
The collection’s namesake is a beach club I once went to in Southern Italy – Lido Calypso. It was a day I felt free. The soundtrack of the day included Wham, Abba and Umberto Tozzi. The Limoncello was flowing and the guests were glowing from the kiss of the day’s sun. Uniforms included neon pink bathers, chunky gold jewellery, silver aviator frames and smiling faces.
The party went well into the night and in the magical midnight hour I remember winding our way up the steep hill back to our apartment; cool breezes slipped through luscious palm trees all the while, the echo of the party slowly fading out and merging with the ocean’s waves.
These memories and the sense of freedom inspired me to create this chapter of Novella for you. But what has been the biggest inspiration, is you! I have been so pleased to learn about the pieces you have loved the most, it really shows me that you’re a brave bunch craving a bit of fashion freedom.
I have pushed the boundaries a little with this one, while keeping all the things you love about Novella there too – a perfect fit, unique pieces, and little details that give you that boost of confidence, knowing we care. I really hope it brings you a sense of fashion freedom and inspires you to dress up and create your own beautiful memories in these garments.
